The most harrowing stories can be hidden under a seemingly glamorous resume. A winner of both the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after a lot of struggle and immense patience. Jones was the only child of a five-child family who lived living in poverty. Her mother lived on the roads and in the cellar of a local church at one point. Jones' nomadic lifestyle forced her to change schools each year, until she reached high school. Jones was forced to move away from her mother in Theodore Roosevelt School to pursue her love of track. She lived at four different residences during her time at high school to ensure that she could study all in the same place. Jones was a part of both the Iowa School Orchestra as well as the Gatorade Track and Field Award. Also, she was awarded this award in the school. Jones began her career at the college level as one of the best hurdlers. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship she took home the 100-meter hurdles. Jones also was a part of the second-placed team in the 100-meter Relay race. Jones took home both the indoor and outdoor hurdles events at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones was a professional athlete with the year 2005, after she finished her education. Jones began training to prepare for a successful track career. In 2005, she was the winner of the Torino Memorial race, in 2006, she won in the Heusden and Ostrava runners.

Brandt is a child of the Cape Town region. She grew up within Cape Town South Africa with her siblings and parents, moved from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her late teens. Brandt's talent was discovered in Auckland by local Director of casting Brandt. Brandt was cast as a part of Naevia for her role on the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was one of the main stars of the show, working alongside Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. She was on the show's hit Netflix show Lucifer that ran for a six year run playing the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes listed Lucifer as the number one series that was watched on a binge in 2021. Brandt is set to next be seen alongside Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira along with other Walking Dead cast members in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in a mature animated feature that will be released on Netflix on July 20, 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born the 2nd of December, the 2nd of December 1981 at Cape Town South Africa. She's an extremely talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to New Zealand in the city of Auckland. Zealand in 1999. After several years working in retail and then being promoted to an IT consultant. Lesley started her career as a commercial ad-writer after several modeling assignments. The year 2008 was the time she concluded her studies in acting. Then, in 2009 she began her training again using the Meisner technique of studying. Lesley's debut prominent role on screen in New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street as a supporting visitor role. Then she was in the sci-fi thriller called This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teenager hostage and later depicts in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena mini-series.
