Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play with her mom. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an actor'sworkshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married civilly in December 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk has played a range of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. In 2009, she got the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans in the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to return to the set of the show. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren the actress (Zoie) among their favorite TV couples. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
